Stem cell doctor in lab

Bello Bio is ReBella Suppliers' trusted lab:

Bello Bio is located in Scottsdale, Arizona. ReBella Suppliers distributed Bello Bio manufactured products exclusively. When you purchase through ReBella, you are buying tissue that Bello Bio processed under a safe, compliant, and FDA-registered lab following cGMP.

That single-source relationship is the reason this page exists. Clinicians and buyers ask us where the tissue comes from and how it was handled. Here are the answers.

Who Processes the Tissue?

Bello Bio is a birth-tissue allograft lab registered with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. It processes ethically acquired umbilical cord tissue for clinical, research, and contract-manufacturing use.

The lab follows two federal frameworks. It operates under Current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) and complies with 21 CFR 1271.150, the FDA's Current Good Tissue Practice requirement for human cells and tissues. Processing happens inside Biosafety Level 2 cabinets under continuous air-quality management, and every donor's tissue is screened before it moves forward.

One point of honesty matters here, and Bello Bio states it plainly: the FDA does not “approve” or certify labs as GMP compliant. The agency inspects tissue processors to verify they meet the standards — it does not hand out GMP certificates. So when we say Bello Bio is FDA registered and cGMP compliant, we mean exactly that, and nothing more.

Where Does the Tissue Come From?

The tissue is donated umbilical cord, collected from mothers who have given informed consent at participating hospitals.

Umbilical cord tissue was once discarded as medical waste. It is now recognized as a source of regenerative material. Mothers expecting normal, healthy deliveries are invited to donate, and those who choose to do so complete a screening process with over 210 medical history questions and sign consent forms before anything is collected. There is no harm to the mother and no harm to the baby.

The handling chain is short and controlled:

A qualified technician collects the tissue in the delivery room immediately after birth, once the cord is clamped.

The tissue goes into a sterile saline ice bath and is transported to Bello Bio's cGMP-compliant facility.

Lab specialists screen each donation and process it according to product-specific standard operating procedures.

Bello Bio partners with an accredited third party for comprehensive testing and pathogen screening.

Finished allografts ship as single-dose preparations on dry ice to preserve them in transit.

Because the protocols are written down and repeatable, the tissue you receive in one order is processed the same way as the tissue in the next.

Who Runs the Lab?

Bello Bio's science is led by Dr. Katherine Minter-Dykhouse, a Mayo Clinic-trained PhD, as Chief Science Officer. She sets the processing protocols that make the lab's output reproducible.

She works alongside a leadership team that covers the parts of a tissue lab that keep it accountable:

Quality and regulatory affairs report at the leadership level, not as an afterthought. For a product used in clinical settings, that structure is the point.

What Does This Mean for You?

It means you can trace the tissue. If a clinician on your team asks how a graft was screened, where it was processed, or what standards the lab works under, the answer is not spread across a dozen unnamed suppliers. It is one FDA-registered lab with a named science lead and documented SOPs.

For research and contract-manufacturing partners, the same is true in reverse. Bello Bio processes to product-specific protocols and works within cGMP and cGTP frameworks, so the material behind your study or your product line has a documented history.

ReBella Suppliers exists to properly handle the product and ship it to you. Bello Bio distributes through us exclusively, and we hold the distribution arrangement that makes their products available for order.
